"Potugadu" is a remake of hit Kannada film "Govindaya Namaha" and hence expectations are going to be good...Moment the songs are released in the market they received super response from the audiences especially "Pyaar me" and "Bujji pilla" are instant hits...Lets see how Manoj's and Posani's comedy works out at boxoffice???

Though "Potugadu" had some comedy moments to cherish,the weaker story fails to keep the audiences engaged...Lack of emotional connect in the love stories is the main setback...!!!

Highlights:-
Manchu Manoj is as usual at his normal ease with his acting skills.His involvement in the movie is always appreciable especially in crafts like Stunts,thrills,etc.
Music director Achu did a brilliant job.Especially "Pyar Me","Bujji Pilla" and "Devatha" songs are of top quality.

Pawan wadeyar well handled the comedy sequences.
Less run time is the major relief.
First half is crisp.
Posani did a good job.

Story is the major setback and the way the second half is handled depicts it.
Love track between the hero and the heroines is very superficial and hence the emotional connect is missing.
All the four heroines Sakshi,Simran,Anu priya,Rachel had nothing to do and they are just confined to glamour show and songs.
Second half is boring and dragged to reach the flag point.
Ali is wasted in the movie with his limited character.
Editing could be far better.
Only Manoj is effective in evoking laughter and no other comedians created impact.
